![]() I gave it to my husband who is quite a bit larger than me, and it his favorite pillow. ![]() Also even with it seeming too soft, it made my ear hurt. So I exchanged it for a medium and it was way softer and I just could not get comfortable with it. It had a good level of firmness but was way to tall for my neck. Purple Harmony - I bought this at a Denver Mattress store and they only had the tall in stock and I wanted it right away. The core of it is pretty firm though and I got ear pain from it. I really liked the shoulder cutout and it was a good loft for me. Therapedic Shoulder Contour Bed Pillow - This one wasn't terrible. Hurt my ear and just was not comfortable. I like it stayed cool and the level of neck support and that's it. Purple Pillow - Recommended by a friend who hated the COOP pillow. Also, even though I returned it a couple of months ago, I'm still finding filling all over my house from adjusting it all the time. If I put it at the support level I want, it's too tall. If I put it at the proper height, its too soft. ![]() The height to width ratio to get the support I need has changed. They only come in queen and king now, so I bought a queen, and its not the same at all. However, it got ruined when I washed it, so I bought a new one. Here is my review of several pillows I've tried so far.Ĭoop Eden - This pillow worked for me for a couple of years when I got in the standard size. I cover all my pillows in a silk pillowcase, too, so cover material isn't that important to me as long as I don't feel it through the cover. I would say it's still pretty soft though. I have a king-size soft-side waterbed (the kind of bed that is a foam frame with a water core) and a firm latex topper. This means super firm pillows don't work for me. I also have TMJ and am prone to ear pain at night. I have had neck issues for years, likely due to having a job where I'm at a desk all day. I sleep on my side mostly, though I do occasionally roll onto my back. Broad shoulders for my size from years of weight lifting, but not more broad than average. I'm in my early 40s, am 5'3.5", and about 135 lbs. I figured I should share my findings in case someone else finds them helpful. ![]() I've been lurking around here for months trying to find a pillow to help my neck, back and TMJ/ear pain issues. ![]()
